NEW YORK CITY-T.J. Maxx, a discount retailer, is opening a newstore in the Bridgemarket complex situated under the QueensboroBridge at 59th Street on October 24. According to TJX Cos., openinga store in the complex is part of the retailer's expansion plan inManhattan.

The opening of a 35,750-square-foot store at the98,000-square-foot complex follows T.J. Maxx's recent entry inColumbus Avenue and a new store to be opened on November 11 at 57thStreet and Eighth Avenue. For the full story, go toWall Street Journal.
