Alexandria Real Estate Equities is developing a $200 million, 310,000-square-foot bioscience complex named The Alexandria Center for Life Science-New York City at East 29th Street and First Avenue in Manhattan. The SUNY Downstate Medical Center and the New York City Economic Development Corporation are developing the 1.8 million-square-foot complex named BioBAT in the Brooklyn Army Terminal.
