ORANGE COUNTY, CA-The state has selected Facilities ManagementWest Inc. to purchase the Orange County fairgrounds, a 150-acresite, for an amount of $100 million.

The company would offer $20 million as initial payment for thesite this year and pay the remaining in the coming 35 years, saidthe state. It lost the bid in a state auction to Craig Realty Groupin January. Since the state declined the offer, FacilitiesManagement West came up with its offer.
