WASHIGNTON, DC-Freddie Mac reported that the average interestrates on fixed loans for 30 years increased 4.21% in the latestweek, while last week, the value was 4.19%. For fixed loans thatextend for 15 years, the average rate increased 3.64% in the latestweek, while the same was 3.62% in past week.

Compared to last week, average rates on loans for one-yearvariable-rate decreased from 3.43% to 3.3%, while that of mortgagesfor five-year variable-rate decreased from 3.47% to 3.45%.For the full story, go to Seattle Times.
