NEW YORK CITY-Developer BRP Cos. has started construction on the $45 million retail and housing project named the Bradford located in Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn. The Urban Investment Group of Goldman Sachs has invested $6.5 million in the project, which will feature 105 apartments for families in the low and middle income group.
The firm also serves as equity financier by issuing bonds worth $20.7 million. The New York City Housing Development Corp. is also backing the project along with New Markets Tax Credits. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
