PHOENIX-Houston-based Whitestone REIT has bought Sunnyslope Village, a 111,227 square-foot, Class B community center situated in Phoenix, Arizona, for an amount of $6.4 million or about $58 per square foot.

This community center is the second acquisition for the real estate investment trust in Phoenix. Another property called The Citadel, a Class A community center situated in Scottsdale, was also recently acquired by the firm for about $2.2 million.
