DETROIT-Chef Jimmy Schmidt has traded the Rattlesnake Club to the owner of the Stroh River Place complex, the Stroh Cos. The sale of the eatery, which has been operating in the complex since June 1988, took place in August, said Bob Sereno, the general manager of the restaurant.
The chairman of the Stroh Companies, John Stroh III refused to comment on the sale, but he stated that the restaurant would not be sold out or modified. For the full story, go to The Detroit Free Press.
