CHICAGO-Ronald McDonald House Charities has started construction on an 86-room guesthouse for the families of hospitalized children at 211 E. Grand in the Streeterville neighborhood. The charity has developed about 300 houses globally.

The project needs an investment of about $30 million, and the charity has raised $18 million as of now. The 14-story facility will feature a chapel, a rooftop healing deck, 24-hour Internet and resource center and dining rooms. For the full story, go to Chicago Sun Times.
