PHILADELPHIA-Horsham-based Toll Brothers Inc.'s two recent deals show that the firm is continuing its purchase of stalled residential properties. The homebuilder has acquired the Hills at Rivington, a struggling mega-housing project in Danbury, Connecticut, for $23.5 million.
The 300-acre property was purchased from WCI Communities Inc., which bought the property for $45 million in 2004. The company is also planning to acquire Westboro Village, a 300-unit residential development in Westborough, Massachusetts. For the full story, go to Philadelphia Business Journal.
