NEW YORK CITY-The Laureate, a 76-unit condominium on Broadway,will open next spring and has been developed to resemble theAnsonia, the stunning Beaux-Arts apartment house.

The Laureate will feature latticework balconies, curved cornersand stone blocks - common features of many of the prewar buildingsin the US. The Laureate's developer, Gregg Wolpert, stated that heand his organization, Stahl Organization were extremely sensitiveto the prewar building style and were particular in duplicating thestyle for the Laureate building.
