BOSTON-Freddie Mac has reported that the average rates on fixed loans have reached record-low values once again in the latest week.
In this week, the average rates on fixed loans that extend for 30 years decreased from last week's value of 4.24% to 4.17%, which is the record-low value since 1971. For 15-year fixed mortgages, the average rates declined in the latest week to 3.57%, which is the lowest on records dating to 1991. For the full story, go to Boston Globe.
