BOSTON-Freddie Mac has reported that the average rates on fixedloans have reached record-low values once again in the latestweek.

In this week, the average rates on fixed loans that extend for30 years decreased from last week's value of 4.24% to 4.17%, whichis the record-low value since 1971. For 15-year fixed mortgages,the average rates declined in the latest week to 3.57%, which isthe lowest on records dating to 1991. For the full story,go to Boston Globe.
