CHICAGO-Kendal Corp. has started construction of a 31-story retirement community named The New Admiral at the Lake at Marine Drive and Marine Drive in Chicago. The not-for-profit community will feature 200 one- to three-bedroom residential apartments, 17 memory-support rooms, 39 assisted and 36 private skilled nursing accommodations.
