NEW YORK CITY-William Rudin is struggling to redevelop St. Vincent's Hospital into townhouses and apartment buildings. The project faced problems last spring when the hospital fell into financial crisis.
Mr. Rudin is now talking terms with the St. Vincent's estate and creditors, such as GE Capital, to buy the campus and partly upraise the project.
