SAN FRANCISCO-Cassidy Turley has hired Robert Cord III as senior managing director of property management. In this role, he will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic focus and profitability of the property management division in Northern California.

“Rob will be partnering with our established property management team to further enhance service delivery to our clients in this region,” says Dean Mueller, president of investor services for Cassidy Turley. “In addition, he will work closely with our leadership, leasing and capital markets teams to ensure seamless service delivery to our clients that engage us for multiple services.”

With more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Cord most recently spent four years at Kennedy Wilson, where he oversaw the management of 14 million square feet of commercial properties. During this time, he repositioned the company’s third-party management business, doubling its size within Northern California, Las Vegas and select markets across the country.

Prior to this, Cord spent two years as CEO, president and founder of Cord Commercial Inc. in Sacramento, which specialized in managing commercial property portfolios throughout the Western US. Cord also served for three years at CB Richard Ellis in Sacramento as a managing director responsible for overseeing the operations of the region’s largest commercial real estate services firm. In addition, he has held leadership positions at TRI Commercial Real Estate Services and Grubb & Ellis Co., both in the greater Bay Area.

Mike Kamm, CEO of Cassidy Turley BT Commercial, adds that “We are delighted to have a professional of Rob’s caliber join our Northern California team. Rob’s relationships, expertise and experience will be invaluable as we focus on further expanding our property management business.”
