SAN DIEGO-Scripps has unveiled its $2 billion-plus, 25-year master plan to substitute Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla with new hospital towers in order to meet state seismic standards. The new plan is currently being reviewed by the city of San Diego.

As per the proposed plan, the 43-acre campus will have three hospital towers, two medical office buildings, a parking lot and an outpatient care pavilion. The first eight-story hospital tower measuring 383,000 square feet will be opened in 2015. For the full story, go to The San Diego Metropolitan.
