MUNICH, GERMANY-Marketing agency Serviceplan has renewed its full occupancy of the 175,665-square-foot Brienner Strasse complex. The office buildings are owned by New York City-based Tishman Speyer.
The buildings were constructed in 1930, with refurbishments since then, and is close to public transportation. The tenant signed an early renewal to extend its occupancy to January 2021.
Jerry Speyer, co-CEO of the company, said the lease is an example of the firm’s strategy of targeting “world-class corporations for the well-located, high-quality properties we’ve acquired.” He said in a statement that office leasing momentum has been building at the company’s properties around the world, including six new leases at its Opern Turm development in Frankfurt.
The 72,000 square feet of leases include tenants Roland Berger (management consultant, 24,000 square feet), Infosys (business solutions, 15,000 square feet) and Bingham McCutchen (law firm, 8,000 square feet). The 95%-occupied Opern Turm property, which was completed in 2009, includes a 42-story tower, a seven-story podium building and an underground garage.
