HOUSTON-Construction of Ponderosa Fire Department Station 2 is underway by Emergency Services District No. 28. The new station will feature three bays and will open in the summer of 2011.
The station, located at 4362 Louetta Road, will replace the area's existing station, built in the early 1990s. The current station is not easily accessible as it is located at a dead end in the Cypressdale subdivision. LDF Construction is in-charge of construction and BRW Architects is the project's architect. For the full story, go to Houston Chronicle.
