SEATTLE-The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Pacific Marine Operations Center, a soon-to-be-vacated building situated on Lake Union, has been put up for sale. NOAA's lease agreement expires in June and it will move to Newport, Oregon.

The eight-acre property situated at 1801 Fairview Ave. E. is owned by a corporation managed by several families. NOAA has been in the site as tenant since 1963. The property comprises a 12,000-square-foot warehouse and a two-story lab/office building.For the full story, go to Seattle Times.
