SAN DIEGO-Smith Consulting Architects is designing the San Diego Blood Bank's new headquarters situated within Gateway Center in San Diego. Since early 1970s, the organization's headquarters has been situated at Upas Street in Hillcrest, Fifth Avenue and an adjacent building in Kearny Mesa.
Now the San Diego Blood Bank is planning to consolidate all three locations into one central building. It will relocate to a two-story building at Gateway Center and upgrade the 60,000-square-foot space. For the full story, go to San Diego Business Journal.
