CHICAGO-Milwaukee-based Marcus Corp. has agreed to purchase a 10-acre site to develop a 15-screen movie theater in a projected shopping center situated in north suburban Green Oaks. The theater would occupy a 35-acre development located at the crossway of Interstate 94 and State Route 176.
The project is being developed by Bradford Real Estate Cos. and Midwest Real Estate Equities Inc. Marcus is planning for a 60,000-square-foot facility with a 70-foot-wide screen and 2,400 seats. Construction may start in spring or summer. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
