BALTIMORE-Federal Capital Partners, a Washington, DC-based real estate investment firm, has purchased the Munsey, an 18-story apartment building in downtown Baltimore for $13.75 million. The company has plans to improve the North Calvert Street building.

The Munsey building consists of 146 apartments and a retail space measuring 4,000 square feet on the ground floor. The property was on the market for sale as part of a deal signed between the lender Capmark Finance LLC and the previous owner Munsey Baltimore LLC.
