CHICAGO-Navistar International Corporation has bought the former Alcatel-Lucent East Campus situated in Lisle for its headquarters. With the purchase, the manufacturer has become the official owner of the office compound measuring 1.2 million square feet.
Navistar will move from Warrenville to the 87-acre property situated in the I-88 Hi-Tech Corridor, 25 miles west of Chicago. The company will use the property as its corporate headquarters offices as well as for R&D activities. Jones Lang LaSalle represented the buyer in the transaction.
