GREENVILLE, SC-A joint venture headed by Chicago-based Scion Group has bought a 590-bed student residence situated in Central, South Carolina, from Education Realty Trust Inc. for $14.4 million. The firm partnered with Real Estate Capital Partners to acquire the Reserve at Clemson, a 177-unit, nine-building property situated two miles away from the Clemson University campus.
