DEL MAR, CA-Carson Palmer, Cincinnati Bengals has purchased a half-acre piece of land for $4.4 million in Del Mar city.
The barren plot situated in 2160 Balboa Avenue was sold by the city of Del Mar in an effort to clear its debt on a park land purchase made in 2006. Palmer bought the property in September at a public auction and was required to pay a 10% buyer's premium in addition to the sale price. For the full story, go to North County Times.
