CHICAGO-The Chicago Spire site is under new management as its former owner, Garret Kelleher lost ownership over the property to a court-selected receiver.
A judge in the Cook County Circuit Court approved the request of Anglo Irish Bank Corp., the property's largest lender, to appoint an executive from CB Richard Ellis Inc. as Chicago Spire site's receiver. Anglo Irish Bank Corp. also lodged a foreclosure lawsuit against Kelleher's Shelbourne Development Ltd. in October. For the full story, go to Chicago Real Estate Daily.
