CHICAGO-Michael McGrath, a car dealer in Chicago, is planning to expand his Elston Avenue Lexus dealership by opening a new Acura showroom right across the road.
The proposal is still being reviewed by the Chicago Plan Commission. The project includes a new service center measuring 130,000 square feet at 1250 N. Elston Ave., which will be connected to McGrath's existing dealership. McGrath also plans on developing a new Acra dealership at 1301 N. Elston Ave. measuring 28,000 square feet.
