NEW YORK CITY-As the economy improves, REITs are starting to make major acquisitions again, says KeyBanc's Woomer.

NEW YORK CITY-REITs are starting to make major acquisitions again because of their access to capital. And it's not just the big firms, mid-cap REITs are successful in their efforts now as well, says Robert Woomer, a director at KeyBanc Capital Markets' real estate investment banking group. He spoke recently at REIT World with GlobeSt.com's Paul Bubny.
