NEW YORK CITY-Brokerage firm Newedge USA LLC is staying in its88,644-square-foot space at 630 Fifth Ave., a Rockefeller Centeroffice tower also known as the International Building. Thederivatives and securities firm reached an agreement to renew62,777 square feet and make its leases coterminous. Terms of thedeal were not disclosed.

Cushman & Wakefield vice chairman Jonathan Serko and seniordirector Barry Zeller advised Newedge in the renewalrenegotiations. Landlord Tishman Speyer Properties was representedin-house.

Serko says in a release that Newedge enjoys “a solidrelationship with the landlord” based on its existing tenancy at630 Fifth. “That, combined with the professional management,internationally recognized address and central Midtown location,played an important role in the lease renewal.” Zeller says the“sizeable” renewal validates the services and amenities for whichthe property has long been known.
