RIVERSIDE, CA-Food marketer and distributor Sysco Corp. has acquired 45 acres of industrial land in the Meridian Business Park from LNR Property Corp. of Newport Beach. The property is located at Opportunity Way and Meridian Parkway within the Meridian development, which is a master-planned property designed for company growth.
The seller was represented by the Geraci-Chenoweth-Gutierrez-Wood Team, which was with CB Richard Ellis at the time the deal closed. The team, which has recently joined the Inland Empire office of Voit Real Estate Services, is composed of industrial brokers Frank Geraci, Walt Chenoweth, Patrick Wood and Juan Gutierrez, as well as senior marketing assistant Aditi McCann.
Chenoweth, executive vice president of Voit’s Inland Empire office, says that the property represents “the ideal platform for expanding Sysco’s business.” The property is located in the center of Riverside County in the heart of the Inland Empire, within a mile of the 215 Freeway near three interchanges and close to the Ontario National Airport
