NEW YORK CITY-Real estate prices rise up as trendsetters in Brooklyn are flocking to Park Slope, also known as South Slope. Due to a mix of housing stock, real estate prices have increased in the South Slope.

The Park Slope Library, which is 103 years old, is reopening next year after renovations. Meanwhile, construction for a new school continues on the place of the former William Butler School.
