WOODLAND HILLS, CA-Younan Properties Inc. has hired industryveteran Gregory Zack for the newly created post of vice presidentof capital markets to help the investment and asset managementcompany execute its growth strategy. Zack who brings more than 40years of experience in commercial real estate to his new position,was a principal of ProMark Capital in Los Angeles before joiningYounan.

Zaya Younan, chairman and CEO of Younan Properties, said in astatement regarding Zack’s appointment: “As the companysuccessfully grows its national platform, the requirement growsconcurrently for in-house expertise to handle the volume oftransactions.” Younan further noted that Zack “has been a trustedconsultant who has worked with us over the past decade.”

Younan added that the appointment of Zack comes at a time whenhis company is seeking seek new commercial office opportunities innew and existing markets. Zack commented that the new positionprovides an opportunity to leverage his background with hisknowledge of Younan Properties.

Before ProMark Capital, Zack served as director of real estatefor Loeb Rhodes Commercial Realty; was Manager of real estate jointventures for International Paper Realty; and was vice president offinance with Arlen Realty and Development, all located in New YorkCity.
