IRVINE, CA-California Coastal Communities Inc., a homebuilderlocated in Irvine, is looking for a court approval for a$15-million funding deal for its 356-unit Brightwater projectlocated close to the Bolsa Chica wetlands in Huntington Beach.

California Coastal filed for bankruptcy last year. The slowsales at the Brightwater project would affect the firm's potentialto settle ongoing expenditures. So far, about 100 units have beensold, with only about 20 of that in 2010. For the fullstory, go to Orange County BusinessJournal.
