INDIANAPOLIS-A meat smoking and curing facility along with a tasting room on the Near Eastside has been advocated for zoning approval. The meat processing plant located at 411 Dorman St. would lease about 12,000 square feet in an industrial building, which is half vacant, in Coble Metropolitan Business Center.

The six-building, 220,000-square-foot complex, which was previously a Pepsi bottling operation, was bought by Coble in 1989. The proprietors of Goose the Market are planning to open the meat plant. For the full story, go to Indy Star.
