LOS ANGELES-The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Commission is mulling over the idea of razing the Los Angeles Sports Arena and constructing a 22,000-seat soccer stadium for Chivas USA. An amphitheater might also come up in that space.
The commission has found out that the 51-year-old facility will need plumbing, air conditioning and other renovation work worth $8.2 million to remain functional in the upcoming five years. Also, the land is not fit for office, retail space or student housing. For the full story, go to Los Angeles Business Journal.
