MILWAUKEE-The developers Marriott hotel at downtown Milwaukee are seeking to redesign the project in order to safeguard the frontages of existing buildings situated along Milwaukee Street and Wisconsin Avenue. The Milwaukee Historic Preservation Commission told the heads of Wave Development LLC to revise a proposal to destroy buildings in view of a projected new 200-room hotel.
