LOS ANGELES-Chicago-based Walton Street Capital LLC has bought Simi Valley Town Center, a 612,417-square-foot building, confirmed Brian Gabler of the firm. The center, constructed in 2005, was previously owned by Forest City Enterprises of Ohio.

TIAA-CREF or Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association and College Retirement Equities Fund, the lender of Forest City Enterprises, placed the property's mortgage on the market.
