RALEIGH, NC-Proposed plans are taking shape for a Hampton Inn & Suites hotel located at the corner of Johnson Street and Glenwood Avenue in the Glenwood South district of downtown Raleigh. A group of investors known as Glenwood Hospitality Associates from Greenville had circulated plans for the building in the summer of 2009.
The investors are awaiting approval from the Raleigh City Council for the plans, which include a six-story tower with retail space. For the full story, go to Triangle Business Journal.
