NEW YORK CITY-New York University Langone Medical Center has acquired 14 commercial condo units at 240 E. 38th St. from Verizon for about $50 million. The center will use the space, which measures 285,000 square feet, for short-term patient care, research facilities and offices.
The center consists of the Tisch Hospital, the Hospital for Joint Diseases and Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. Newmark Knight Frank negotiated the deal on behalf of the seller. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business.
