TAMPA, FL-Sterling University Housing, a division of The Dinerstein Companies, has sold Sterling 42nd Street, a 196-unit student housing community consisting of 722 beds in Tampa, to a state pension fund. The property was sold for an undisclosed price.
The student housing community, constructed in 2009, was 98% occupied at the time of closing. National Student Housing Group of Marcus & Millichap negotiated the deal on behalf of both the seller and the buyer. For the full story, go to Florida Real Estate Journal.
