NEW YORK CITY-Real estate scion William Macklowe, who left Macklowe Properties this past summer to form his own company, is about to close on his first acquisition since launching the William Macklowe Co. The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that a partnership of WMC and ING Clarion Partners is paying $45.2 million for 636 Ave. of the Americas, a 90,000-square-foot mixed-use property in Midtown South.
