LOS ANGELES-Ronald Platisha has been promoted to the newly created position of chief operations officer for BH Properties. Platisha will lead the organizational operations while building and maintaining relationships with financial institutions.

“The eight-figure revolving unsecured line of credit BH Properties received from Wells Fargo in early 2010 has resulted in our ability to continue on an aggressive growth path,” says Steve Jaffe, executive vice president and general counsel for BH Properties. “It became necessary to expand the executive team to provide increased hands-on leadership for the day-to-day workings of BH Properties core business functions.”

Platisha, a 30-year veteran in the commercial real estate industry, has served as CFO at BH Properties for the past four years. According to a prepared statement, his distinguished experience includes leadership positions at CB Richard Ellis, where he served as executive vice president of finance, CFO of the Americas and principal accounting officer. Platisha has also served in the internal audit department of H.F. Ahmanson & Co., and as a senior auditor for KPMG International.

“The strategic leadership and guidance Ron has provided to the company have been invaluable,” adds president Steve Gozini. “His vast experience with organizational operations will be instrumental in helping the company to execute the future growth plan envisioned by the executive team.”
