WASHINGTON, DC- Rockville-based Washington Real Estate Investment Trust has acquired 1140 Connecticut Ave. NW, an office building measuring 184,135 square feet in Washington, DC, for an amount of $80.25 million.

WASHINGTON, DC- Rockville-based Washington Real Estate Investment Trust has acquired 1140 Connecticut Ave. NW, an office building measuring 184,135 square feet in Washington, DC, for an amount of $80.25 million. The 12-story building has a three-level parking garage.

WRIT has also signed a contract to purchase 1227 25th St. NW, an eight-story office building in Washington, DC, for $47 million. The 130,434-square-foot building has a two-level parking garage.For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal.
