CHICAGO-A venture of Oak Brook-based Inland Real Estate Corp. has acquired Joffco Square, a 95,354-square-foot shopping center anchored by Best Buy in the South Loop for $23.8 million. The three-year-old center, situated at 555 W. Roosevelt Road, was bought through a bankruptcy auction.

Joffco Square, which is nearly 83% occupied, includes a three-level car parking garage. A venture of Joffco Development LLC of Northbrook, the former owner of the center, filed for bankruptcy in late 2009. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
