LOS ANGELES-Construction of a new extension measuring 140,000 square feet at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is nearing its completion. The expansion of the 138-bed hospital is expected to be opened in the spring.
The new $180-million south wing of the hospital has been already completed, and the exterior construction is expected to be completed in February. The expansion will also include neonatal intensive care unit, new women's pavilion, pre- and post-operative surgery department, larger gastroenterology lab and a chapel.
