WASHINGTON, DC-Duke Realty Corp. has announced it has closed 238,504 square feet of leases in the fourth quarter of 2010. These included new leases, renewals and expansions.

Among the new leases, V. Alexander and Co. inked a deal to occupy 40,569 square feet in 22815 Glenn Dr. Dale Hoxie with Barrett Industries represented V. Alexander and Co. in the transaction. TASC Inc. also signed a new lease to occupy 31,824 square feet at 15006 Northridge Dr. Brad Davis and Cathy Delcoco with CB Richard Ellis represented TASC in the lease. And BLF Technologies signed a new lease for 2,231 square feet of space in 1800 N. Beauregard.

Duke Realty also reported a strong quarter in Q2, with more than 100,000 square feet of new and renewed leases. Duke Realty entered the Washington, DC market in 2006 with the acquisition of properties and land from the Mark Winkler Co. Headed by senior vice president Peter Scholz, Duke's DC office now serves about 150 tenants in the region. Scholz did not return a call to GlobeSt.com in time for publication.
