CHICAGO-An affiliate of Chicago-based Newcastle Ltd. has acquired a shopping center measuring 14,800 square feet at 2500 W. North Ave. from a venture headed by William Senne. The Newcastle affiliate paid $4.7 million for the property.
The shopping center, which is 100% occupied, includes tenants such as GameStop, Charter One Bank, Subway and O'Reilly Auto Parts. Newcastle financed the deal. Senne's venture had received $3.5 million in financing loan for the property from Wheatland Bank of Naperville in 2007. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
