CARLSBAD, CA-Hilton Hotels and Resorts getting ready to start construction of a new resort and spa on a Carlsbad site. The new Hilton Carlsbad Oceanfront Resort and Spa will be developed at Ponto Drive and Carlsbad Boulevard.
The resort, which will be opened for business in June or July 2012, will have 215 single- and double-bedroom suites, a full service spa, a health club, banquet and meeting facilities, tropical swimming areas with private cabanas and waterfalls and a restaurant.
