SAN FRANCISCO-Palo Alto-based Facebook Inc. has purchased two office buildings, which total 120,000 square feet in Menlo Park, for an undisclosed amount. According to the property files recorded at the San Mateo County Recorder's Officer, Giant Properties LLC, a firm controlled by Facebook, has acquired the property.
Facebook has been planning for a major expansion of its operations in Silicon Valley by relocating to a 57-acre property in Menlo Park formerly occupied by Sun Microsystems. For the full story, go to Oakland Tribune.
