SEATTLE-The Seattle Times Co. has sold the South Lake Union office building to an affiliate of Beverly Hills-based Simms Commercial Development for $36 million. The newspaper will become the prime tenant of the 1000 Denny Building located at Boren Avenue North and Denny Way.

The Seattle Times will occupy nearly 55% of the 285,000 square feet for 10 years. The newspaper will relocate its executive offices, newsroom and other operations currently housed at 1120 John St. to the Denny Building. For the full story, go to Seattle Times.
